When my phone died last year I had to buy an unlocked GSM phone on e-bay because my SIM card would not work in the Cingular phones and I wanted to keep my AT&T minutes plan. I bought a Nokia E50 smartphone nine months ago and everything was fine until I needed to replace the SIM card (original SIM card was getting old and unreliable). I bought a new SIM card, making sure it was an "old AT&T Wireless account" SIM card, called customer service so they could activate it, and put it in my phone. Phone calls are working OK but text messaging is not. I need help configuring my phone and new SIM card for messaging- customer service can't help because I don't have one of their phones. Please help!
