The origin of Abyssinians is a tad hard to verify. One research suggested that the domestic cat first resided with humans about 130, 000 years ago in the middle East. maine coon?
are they good pets? how do they compare to other cats?
I have a Maine Coon/Himalayn mix. He is a very good pet. Very affectionate ,quiet--I can harldy hear him purr, fluffy, a real sweatheart. My other two cats are tabby mixes and also good cats, but I like the Maine Coon best. It is really a personal preference and all cats, regardless of breed, have their own personality. My personal opinion is that Siamese are the hardest cats to get along with, but others swear by them they are the best. Get what kind of cat you like, just make sure before you get it that it likes you, too.
